Woman's Story Circle

Everyone has a story to tell - especially women. That is why Robin Edgar, started "The Red Tent Society" in Charlotte, North Carolina. Based on the Texas-based Story Circle Network, the story circle is open to the public and free of charge.

Founded in early 1997 by Dr. Susan Wittig Albert, the Story Circle Network (SCN)  is a non-profit organization made up of women who want to explore their lives through life-writing. Focusing on personal experiences, women are able to claim the power of their experience, map their journey, and discover who they truly are. Although you do not need to be a member to attend a story circle, SCN members have the opportunity to be involved in an Internet chapter and to be published in the Story Circle Journal.
